Reiki Training

Are you interested in developing your own personal Reiki self treatment or professional practice?  Being able to treat yourself with Reiki requires a personal daily practice! It's a commitment to your own self healing and personal development. If you're willing to make this commitment, then you may be interested in being trained to give yourself  daily treatments. The training  also includes being able to give Reiki treatment to others as well. Some people maintain a personal practice and treatment for family members and friends. Others decide to develop a professional Reiki practice offering Reiki treatment in a professional setting. In either case, your own daily practice is the foundation for everything else. 

There is no age limit to healing so Reiki treatment can be given to a person at any age.  You may have children or grandchildren who could benefit from calming and/or self healing, they may have physical illnesses or emotional issues. Or you may have family members or friends who are going through illnesses, medical emergencies or difficult emotional times. You may have parents who are nearing end of life and just need a calming hand to hold theirs. There are many reasons why learning to self treat and treat others is right for you. 

In addition to healing people, Reiki treatment can also benefit animals. If you have pets who are chronically ill, have acute illnesses or are elderly, they will likely be very open to Reiki treatment. They will tell you what they need, when they need it and for how long! It's a beautiful way to bond with your pets and contribute to their healing. 

Reiki practice in the form of self treatment and treatment for others is taught in three levels:

First Degree Reiki

First degree training teaches you to treat yourself through daily practice.  In this training you are also taught how to treat others including family, friends, clients and pets/animals.  This training takes place in 4-3 hour sessions held over 4 days. You will learn the history and lineage,  the hand placements for self treatment, and you will get experience giving Reiki treatments to others.  Each of the 4 sessions includes an initiation. 

Cost: $250 plus HST

Second Degree Reiki

Second degree training teaches you how to send Reiki treatment to others from a distance. This means you don’t have to be in the same room, city, or country to send Reiki treatment to a willing participant or client. You must have First Degree training to take this training. You will learn the Distant symbols and you will gain experience in sending Distant Reiki. This training occurs in 2 sessions held two weeks apart.  

Cost: $750 plus HST

Reiki Master training

Master training is offered after several years of practice and when you and your Reiki

Master feel that you have a calling to teach Reiki to others.
